Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of equipment do you use?  Is it up to date?

Enhanced Video uses the latest 3-chip digital camcorders (Sony VX2000's - the number 1 choice of professional wedding videographers everywhere for it's unmatched capability at capturing all the color and emotion even in very low-light situations) which capture very sharp, very clear, very colorful images in even the low light settings of many churches.  We strive to stay current with the latest technology so that we can bring its benefits to you in the form of the best video recording available.

Will your videographers be dressed appropriately?

Our videographers wear attire suitable for weddings and religious events.

Is the raw, unedited video footage available for purchase?

We do not offer raw video footage for purchase.  We consider ourselves video artists and as such selling raw footage is equivalent to a painter selling you the paints he/she used to paint your portrait.  Most of what winds up "on the cutting room floor" would be of no interest any way - things like movement of the camera from one location to another to get a great shot while the camera was still recording, showing the floor; focus adjustments while nothing important was in the frame of a particular camera; etc.  We attempt to include every event captured on your final, edited tape and our pre-wedding consultation with you ensures that we understand which events and people are the most important to you to be included.

Do you bring extra equipment on site?
Camera maintenance throughout the year is paramount to us but in the unlikely event that we need to use backup equipment, an additional camera is used with the necessary microphone, lights and batteries.  We are always upgrading our cameras.

Interviews?
Many clients do not like their guests being approached with a microphone.  However, some of our clients have asked us to capture candid moments from immediate relatives and the bridal party.  Should this be the case, then we would seek a quiet location for their messages.  We ask all clients during pre-production whether interviews will be required.

What happens after the videographer has shot my wedding?  How long will it take to edit?

Like the photographer, the wedding videographer is there covering the entire event every step of the way, but when the wedding is over, the work of the videographer has just begun.  Editing a wedding video - or any video for that matter - is a time consuming process, if it is to be done well.  It takes hours of sitting in front of a computer, sifting through the footage and deciding what to include and what not to include and what images to slow down and what music to use and where.  Many people do not realize the amount of time that goes into producing a professional wedding video and are initially surprised by the price for this service.  It normally takes 4 to 6 weeks to deliver a wedding video to the client.
